Now for the past few weeks everything has just been, frankly, very busy. I've been meeting with a teacher a few times a week practicing for when I go for my GED, shooting for mid-April. From this teacher her daughter works at a restaurant called "Buca Di Peppo", an Italian place and they need bussers, so far it seems like 98% that I'll be getting a job there soon.
With my mom and me having jobs (shortly for me) being in communication will be important so we're both getting cell phones, ordering probably on Friday. We're going through Cricket, it's not a major dealer but for $50/month you get unlimited everything, free first month, free shipping, no contract and activation is waived. The cost comes to the actual phone, but we're both looking at a "Motorola SLVR L7c" at a reduced price of just $149.99, around $50 cheaper than regular price!
Seemingly forever, the United States officially never recognized that Bin Laden was in Pakistan. Infact for years they denied it being a possibility, it was considered big news when they said "possibly" but they have finally came out and said it.
In the most definitive statement in years, America's top intelligence official said Tuesday Osama bin laden is in Pakistan actively re-establishing al Qaeda training camps. The newly appointed Director of National Intelligence Jack McConnell made the assertion about bin Laden and his No. 2 man, Ayman al Zawahri, in testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee.
As a direct quote he said:
"to the best of our knowledge that the senior leadership, No. 1 and No. 2, are there, and they are attempting to re-establish and rebuild and to establish training camps."
"Nov. 28, 2006 — ABC News has learned that Pentagon officials are considering a major strategic shift in Iraq, to move U.S. forces out of the dangerous Sunni-dominated al-Anbar province and join the fight to secure Baghdad."
"U.S. intelligence agencies say, based on preliminary indications, that North Korea did not produce its first nuclear blast yesterday, WASHINGTON TIMES star reporter Bill Gertz is set to report in Tuesday editions."
The Drudge Report is now saying that according to several people such as the above one, the test may not of actually been nuclear after all. We will definitely follow this one.
Just now being reported that North Korea HAS tested a nuclear weapon successfully. However thus far there is NO confirmation and US seismic is showing nothing to support this.
As I have said here in the past, I am both a democrat and republican, I'm just about as neutral as they come though a little more conservative than liberal. However aside from gay marriage another one I have to chalk up to being liberal is the stell cem topic. I'm not going to give you a bunch of stats, you can find them fairly easy and quickly and although the stell cem is not a political topic (republicans - no, democrats - yes) you will find very few (literally, few) democrats disagreeing with the spare ones, that would be thrown away, to not be used for research in anyway - whereas you will find some republicans that think it is wrong as well.
