As always, a lot has been going on, I like to keep myself busy . Unfortunately, overall, my websites aren't doing well, that's why I am doing kind of a "re-structuring" my network of websites. Just main website wise (adaptcms.com and adaptbb.com, not included) I would like to get down to 5, that's my goal. That would mean Insane Visions, Charlie Page (this site), Political Yard, Dynasty Wizard and Bengals Chatter. IV is a site that I have no plan of going away and is a main focus. Of course I'm not going to get rid of my own blog, it doesn't take much and I may even see it as a "secondary" web site, since my mail goal with this blog isn't to make money and such, if I can great, but it's just a blog. Continued...Political Yard is something I don't really want to get rid of. If I did, it would be replaced with something else news related. Dynasty Wizard may one day be no longer around, but it is the only free dynasty website out there. But I don't see it as a "long term site". Lastly, Bengals Chatter. It's been a slow start, but I am really hoping to make the site a success. I'm posting very often, have a podcast and am aggressively trying to get it successful. I'll be selling a good 3-4 websites to get down to 5. Once that happens I would like to, if not before then, get a few new layouts up on the sites. Bengals Chatter needs one badly, DW could use one, Political Yard and IV aren't in as much need. From there I'll have to see. An "entertainment site/blog" is of big interest to me. Possibly a whole host of other ideas, but in the past I think of something and then do it, that's fine, but I just want to at least try and have a workable amount of sites and focus on them. I'll be going to college and soon, have a job. So having 10 websites, even if a few don't require much updating, is WAY too much. And I think traffic may have finally suffered from it, unfortunately. But this is a good thing, this could mean also a new script next year as well, we'll see. I'll post another blog this upcoming week on IV about AdaptCMS, with a link to it here. Until next time. |
