South Carolina - GOP Primary - Politics :: Charlie Page
South Carolina - GOP Primary

It feels really like a race, watching CNN & FOX as the percentages total up. At this very moment, McCain is leading Huckabee by 5% with only half of the votes in. (no declared winner right now)

This election, more than any I have witnessed, not only is a winner not clear at all, but the candidates have had extreme highs and lows. McCain was doing real well then fell and it looked like he was done, instead he will either win or get 2nd place in a state that, the winner has gone onto be the Republican Party's choice. Guliani not too long ago was dominating polls and is now losing nationally and has struggled to beat out Ron Paul. Fred Thompson started strong and looked good, now just a few short months later, it looks like he done for.

Should be real close and is interesting to watch. I'll be breaking down the candidates shortly (like in my democrats post). Keep an eye out on CNN on TV, we may be finding out the winner shortly.

EDIT: It's now finally been called with 82% in, 33-29 right now, McCain wins South Carolina. On an unrelated note, I finally got my pictures up, check it out - Gallery.
