The "Monthly Recap" is a monthly post that looks at my projects and websites to see how they are doing. Statistics is a major part, however other things such as new users, # of articles and other things are also factors. Below is how February 2008 went:
Insane Visions Another great month for IV. Stats are the highest since the site became the main domain in the hosting account. (over 1 1/2 years ago) Last month stats were up by a lot already, analytics said 20% and were even up 8% if you compare Feb 1-29 to Jan 1-31st. The continuing success of AdaptCMS helped along with a lot of traffic to the tutorials. 5 articles were posted (1 tutorial, 1 blog) along with 8 new users. WAY Up
AdaptCMS January was the best ever for AdaptCMS.com and February was much better. Awstats said uniques tripled January, analytics saying a 200% increase. There were several new articles posted and if listed at opensourcecms.com and v1.1 releases, March could stack up and possibly do even better. WAY up Continued... Political Yard Finally a good month for PY. Traffic was marginally better and is now powered by AdaptCMS with the latest copy of AdaptBB. Advertising along with articles will hopefully improve stats even more for March. Up 24 Quotes One of the few with poor months in February, stats were down by a fairly big margin, 20% according to Analytics. More quotes will be added along with some articles on the latest going-ons of the show, 24. Down Dynasty Wizard DW coupled with 24quotes had the worst months. Traffic was down and the amount of new dynaties was just 3, the lowest in months and just 4 new users. Hopefully some advertising can pick the site back up. Down Charlie Page Another improved month for my blog. Stats in January were the best in nearly a year and February beat it by a small margin. 6 new articles is something I still want to have more, but fairly good. Up Bengals Chatter "Alright". Stats in analytics were down, awstats said almost the same. Only a few articles up, but with several articles already up in March, should be better. Down Others There are other websites, but too small and/or no-little work has been done on them. AdaptBB has another bad month because it looks very probable that it will be cancelled. Iraq Research had it's CMS upgraded and improved stats. GTA IV Universe and 360 Universe are being attempted to be sold, however the GTA IV CMS was upgraded and work is being done to hopefully sell easier.
Income January went well, February improved. More copies of Pro were sold and I finally got my adsense check of like $104 along with the ad deal of $60/month, doing great. Up |
