The "Monthly Recap" is a monthly post that looks at my projects and
websites to see how they are doing. Statistics is a major part, however
other things such as new users, # of articles and other things are also
factors. Below is how March 2008 went:
Insane Visions
A good month for IV. Stats according to google went down just slightly, in Awstats everything went up, who knows! Stats were up to a record high last month, so I'm happy.
A total of 7 articles were posted (1 tutorial, 3 blogs) and a nice 12 new member signups. Up
GTA IV Universe
After putting it off, I finally got to work on GTA IV Universe and got quite a bit of stuff up and got some big traffic thanks to the likes of reddit and stumbleupon.
Stats were only up 4,500% :p. I think it could even be better in April, with the release of the game. WAY Up
Continued... AdaptCMS
March was a solid month, but down from February. Google says about a 20% decline, awstats says a bit less then that.
I'm not worried, it wasn't drastically bad and when v1.2 releases, I expect it to go backup with fresh advertising. Down
Political Yard
Another good month, up a little for 2 months ago. Advertising helped, more advertising and will be posting a few articles to improve stats more. Up
24 Quotes
Stats were basically the same for 24 Quotes. Only going down a little bit, but 24 being off the air makes it difficult for traffic to be much better. Will write a few articles and advertise, hopefully will help. Same
Bengals Chatter
A good month for Bengals Chatter, stats were up a good amount overall. 6 articles were up, very solid. April should do even better. Up
Dynasty Wizard
A decent month for DW, finally. Traffic up a good amount according to awstats, about the same according to google.
Need to do work on it in April. Up
Charlie Page
My blog had another good month, just 5 articles which I do want to improve, but stats were up according to awstats, google says slightly down. Up
Others
There are other websites, but too small and/or no-little work has been done on them. AdaptBB went up in stats a bit. Iraq Research did good, doubled compared to February. 360
Universe is being attempted to be sold.
Income
March did well too, but about the same as February beside the adsense check. Same |
