I actually completely forgot about this until today, when out of curiousity I searched to see what bloggers were saying. The results were actually very staggering, in a surprising way. Even though it was quite obvious to anyone without a bias of letterman or being extremely left, that the entire Interview was a joke and O'Reilly clearly won. What made the interview so popular so quickly were instant classic quotes such as "I have a feeling about 60% of what you say is crap" followed by "Well I don’t watch your show so that would be impossible." when asked for evidence that O'Reilly's show is full of crap 60% of the time. Why did I only quote this part? It's because unfortunately, it is the only time Letterman could of successfully jabbed O'Reilly but Bill isn't dumb, so the idiot of this conversation ended up being Letterman because as he said "Well I don’t watch your show so that would be impossible. [to give facts on the 60% statement]" and "Because of things that I’ve read, things that I know. [in response to: then how did you come to that conclusion?]". |
